Trying something new can be intimidating but we’re here to help… Check out the FAQ below and get in touch with any other questions you may have.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Anything comfortable that allows you to move at your fullest range of motion.

I'M NOT FLEXIBLE – CAN I DO YOGA?

Absolutely! In fact, you are the perfect candidate for yoga. Yoga will help you gain more flexibility, which loosens tight muscles and prevents injury.

SHOULD I EAT BEFORE CLASS?

Doing yoga on a full stomach is not fun, yet doing yoga when you’re starving isn’t a good idea either. We recommend eating a light snack one hour before class or a meal 2-3 hours before class. This way your body is fueled but not focused on digestion.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Water, a yoga mat and a smile! We have mat rentals available at the studio for $2.00. We also have filtered water so you can just bring a water container to fill up before class. Please allow time to find parking and check in. If you are new to The Center, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to register at the front desk and our friendly staff will help you get settled.

I WORK OUT OFTEN, CAN I TAKE THE ADVANCED CLASSES?

If you've never done yoga before, we recommend you try a few beginner classes first in order to learn the postures and alignment. Our Yoga Advisors can help you determine the best class based on your experience level and goals. At all times, honor your body and practice today so that you can practice tomorrow!
